In Year 2 we hope to spark the children's natural curiosity and encourage them to take part in discussions and ask lots of questions. We enjoy hands-on learning opportunities and love to include lots of drama and discussion in our lessons. The children in Year 2 have many opportunities to become brilliant problem solvers and really get stuck in to some interesting challenges across the curriculum. 

Throughout the year, we want the children to develop confidence, independence, and resilience to their learning, so we offer a year full of amazing learning experiences that will help prepare them for their journey into the juniors. We have lots of exciting things planned this year - full of fun, explorations, challenges and lots of opportunities to be creative in art, music, science, PE and other areas of the curriculum. The overriding thread in everything that we do inside and outside the classroom is through our ‘Lindow Life Skills’ curriculum. Our aim is that we can support the children to become caring, young individuals, whom are responsible citizens of their community, and confident, resilient and proud to be the amazing person that they are.
